Project Name Rajeev Gandhi International Cricket Stadium (RGICS) Dehradun Project Brief The Directorate of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand through its society, RGICS has developed an International Cricket Stadium with a Sports Complex consisting of a) Cricket stadium; (b) Club House; and (c) Ice Rink Facility, (collectively to be referred to as “Stadium Facility”) in Dehradun. Apart from that the RGICS also wants to develop a commercial facility (“Commercial Facility”) near the Stadium Facility; Stadium Facility and the Commercial Facility to be collectively referred as the “Project”. RGICS intends to appoint an operator for the Stadium Facility who would also undertake the development of the Commercial Facility. To ensure efficient operations of the facility backed by an effective marketing plan, appointment of a private operator is envisaged. The private operator would market the sports facility and develop the commercial facility to provide a comprehensive product offering to invite Sport Events of national and international repute.
